My first Toktok ride. These things move at 80-100kph through busy streets. One of the most scariest things I have done. No seat belt or anything to hold you in. I managed to take this photo while holding on very tightly.
These are the nortorious Toktoks
There is motion everywhere here in Bangkok. Every space is taken and used to sell stuff.
Khosan Road. This place is like a 24 hour 365 days a year fare. Toktok drives trying to scam you, suit guys hasseling you for a sale, Chang Mei (frog women) selling there wares, $3 DVD's, sunglasses, cheap food, prostitutes, ladyboys wanting to suck stuff for 50 baht.
By night
Chang Mei (frog women). They sell this wooden frogs that make a crooking sound. They even sell there hats for 100 Baht ($3)
We managed to find a air-conditioned room on the roof of a hotel. They allowed us to connect our laptop. It was the perfect place to play poker. It cost us 1USD an hour, which is ok when you considered that we should earn at least 20USD/hour. We are taking turns to play as we only have the one laptop. In our breaks we have been going swimming in the pool outside. We're up about 300USD so far this week. This is basically even. We could lose are win that in one hour.
This is the pool outside our internet poker shop. This place is a score.
This is the bar at the D&D Inn.
The prices for alcahol are about the same as home, but on the discounted side.
Resort mixed urban Bangkok
We meet these girls at a cocktail bar. With their english being mediocore, our Thai shocking, music playing really loudly, and everyone being drunk, communication was not at its best.
